Elves:
Elves were a race of beings who migrated to Vroengard in the distant past; the exact date is unknown. Humanoid in appearance, they had noticeably angular features, slanting eyebrows, and pointed ears; they were generally tall and slim, and were, according to legend, the fairest people of the land, partly because of physical transformation caused by the dragons' influence on them (and were thus called the Fair Folk). Elves possesse unreal strength and speed. They mainly prefer to use bows, arrows and swords and rarely "bother" to make any other kind of weapons. However, if they were about to make a sword it would be something remarkable, as the elves had special skills about working with metal, but they never shared them with any other race. Both men and women had equal rights in elvish society; both could be warriors and leaders. There have been both male and female monarchs. Elves did not follow any form of religion; strict agnostics to the point of atheism, they maintained that there was not enough proof for the existence of a deity. Elves did not practice marriage, but took mates for as long as they wanted. This resulted in many short partnerships, which meant that elven children were rare and cherished. Relationships between Humans and elves were rare, due to the different species, culture and the life span of both races. half-human, half-elven offspring were not immortal like their elf parent. Instead, they had long lives and most weren't able to have children of their own.

Dwarf:
Dwarves were one of the only races native to Vroengard. Known as lovers of rock and stone, dwarves had a long lifespan and often lived in large, underground cities in the Beor Mountains. One of the most famous dwarf cities was Tarnag. This is the secret hiding place of Tronjeim, a rebel group. Before elves and humans came into Vroengard, the dwarves and dragons fought in many battles against each other. Though never escalating into a full-scale war, these battles nevertheless left the two races with a rivalry.
The dwarves were not a part of the blood-oath pact between elves, men, and dragons. As a result, it was impossible for a dwarf to become a Dragon Rider. During Oriks uprising, however, this proved to be something of a blessing, because the dwarves escaped the downfall of the Riders and the subsequent havoc wreaked by the new king and his minions. The dwarves were split into thirteen distinct, miniature societies called clans. Each clan had its own clan chief, who was a member of the Council. The thirteen clan chiefs were responsible for electing a king; the king was the final authority over all the clans. The dwarves were polytheists, believing in multiple deities. These include Gûntera, king of the gods, a warrior and scholar; Kílf, Gûntera's queen and the goddess of water; Urûr, master of the heavens and the air; Morgothal, the god of fire; Sindri, "mother earth"; and Helzvog, the dwarves' favorite god, who created the dwarves from the roots of the mountains. They are not fond of elves, as they do not share in their religious beliefs.

Humans:
The human race was not native to Vroengard; along with the Elves and the orcs, humans came from across the sea in ages past. The first human settlers landed in what later became Vroengard. They established the Broddring Kingdom, which eventually spread northward to include much of eastern Vroengard. The human culture was agrarian; most humans were farmers and peasants, and their technology was fairly primitive. Different regions had different customs and traditions. Some areas, such as Kuasta, were so isolated by the Black Ridge Mountains that their inhabitants were considered somewhat odd by people from more urban areas. All humans seemed to have believed in some sort of fate or divine influence; most were superstitious. Several possessed magical or psychic powers; some were wizards or witches, others became Dragon Riders.
